Education
Doctorate in Molecular Biology from Leeds University, UK (graduated 2013). Masters degree in Biosciences with specialisation in human genetics and epigenetics, passed with distinction. Undergraduate degree in Biology A-levels in Biology, Physics, and History.
Experience
I have tutored students from high-school level (GSCEs in the UK) in general sciences, right up to PhD level in molecular biology. In ten years of academic research, I have always found imparting knowledge to be one of the most rewarding aspects. While studying for my PhD, and during my last research position I tutored undergraduate and masters students. On top of this, I have 9 years of hands-on experience working with the latest research in biology, so I hope that as well as teaching the subject, I can provide some real insight into the latest developments and life as a scientist.

Hobbies
Besides science, I have a great love of sports and music. I'm a very keen cyclist, usually mountain biking, but lately I've gotten into road cycling and triathlons. I've been playing guitar for about 15 years now and play with a covers band in Uppsala, we're not great, but we have fun doing it. Most important though is a love of new experiences, new activities, and new places.
