Hi, I'm Kirsten! I graduated from Boston College in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, with a concentration in Marketing. I am American so English is my first language. I worked in Marketing for 4 years and am very comfortable with business speak/industry jargon. I also studied French in college and lived in France for a year. Now I'm living in Sweden and learning Swedish, and hoping to use some of my free time to help others learn English! I love languages and enjoy meeting and exchanging with others of different cultures and backgrounds.
Experience
I have tutored children and adults of all ages, backgrounds, and with different goals. I am an easygoing person and can tailor lessons to whatever you need - whether it's homework help, trying to understand complicated grammar rules, or just becoming comfortable with conversational English. I try to make my "lessons" as engaging, interactive and practical as possible - using current events or real homework assignments as jumping off points. I can also help you become a better writer, as that has always been one of my strong suits. I look forward to speaking more soon!

Hobbies
I love to be outdoors and active - skiing in the winter and biking in the summer. I am currently studying Nutritional Therapy and love shopping at farmer's markets, cooking and talking about healthy food. I also love to travel, and am always interested in finding out about new places to travel to! I have only lived in Sweden for a few months now, so exploring my new home is another big hobby right now!
